A two-time Green Room Award nominee for Best Actress, Alexandra’s most recent stage credits include Player 2 in Bambert’s Book of Lost Stories (Barking Gecko), the lead role of The Widow in Rainbow Man (45 Downstairs), Casca in Julius Caesar (Edinburgh Fringe/Adelaide Fringe), the lead role of Agatha in The Moors (Red Stitch Theatre Company) and Chorus Leader in Medea (Complete Works Theatre Company).
On television, she recently played the guest role of Nurse Wendy on the Nine Network’s True Story Season 2.
Previous stage credits include Eurydice (by Sarah Ruhl) at Red Stitch Actors Theatre, Dangerous Liaisons (Dir. Stephen Nicolazzo) for MTC’s NEON Festival, Romeo and Juliet and Julius Caesar for Essential Theatre, Dracula at Theatre Works and Rivers of China, also at Theatre Works. Previous television credits include Home and Away and The Dr Blake Mysteries.
Alexandra completed her Bachelor of Dramatic Art: Acting at NIDA in 2012. She has worked internationally, including a world tour of Louis Nowra’s Cosi, and an Edinburgh Fringe Festival season of White Whale Theatre’s Macbeth Rearisen.
Other stage credits include This House is Mine, School for Wives (Bell Shakespeare), Salome, Lord of the Flies (Dir: Kip Williams), Mrs Clackett in Noises Off!, Salome in Salome, Butterfly Jackson in Cellblock Booty, Touchstone in As You like It, Grumio in The Taming of the Shrew, Claire in The Maids, Angie in Top Girls, Mrs Linde in A Dolls House and Arkadina in The Seagull.
While completing her Bachelor of Creative Arts at the University of Melbourne, Alexandra also co-founded the Melbourne University Shakespeare Company.
