Originally from Perth, Amberly is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, earning her BFA in Music Theatre. Roles at VCA include Lynette ‘Squeaky’ Fromme in Showbites: Assassins and Apassionata Von Climax in Li’l Abner. In 2011 she won the Geoff Gibbs award for audience choice in the Storm the Stage competition at WAAPA. She has trained in dance and voice from a young age and has performed for many events around Perth including the annual City Nativity and OZ Concerts. Upon moving to Melbourne, she joined leading music theatre improvisation group Impromptunes, and has performed at numerous festivals. Amberly is also a member of improvisation troupe The Big Hoo Haa and has performed her own material on the festival circuit. She recently took part in the Australian tour of Avenue Q.
