Ingrid will play the key role of Persephone in Foxtel’s upcoming miniseries The End, by See-Saw Films. She also has a recurring role in Five Bedrooms, for Hoodlum Productions and Network Ten.
Fresh off the Melbourne season of Matilda the Musical, Ingrid was the joint recipient of a Helpmann Award in 2016 for Best Actor in a Musical. She was also one of the lucky few selected to perform in the musical’s opening night, and at the Helpmann Awards in Sydney. Along with her fellow Matildas, she received a 2017 Green Room Award.
In her first professional role as Matilda, Ingrid was fortunate to receive coaching and guidance from the likes of Nik Ashton, Tanya Goldberg, Brendan Yates, Jess Chambers, Jacinta Johns, Leith McPherson, Stephen Amos and Peter Rutherford.
Ingrid has been in the short films’ They Can’t Hear You, One Last Leaf and Red & Blue. She has performed in amateur and school productions, as well as performances for the Australian Girls’ Choir. In April 2017, she participated in Me First, a docuseries on the unsung potential of young girls.
Her training includes classes at Drama with a Difference, The Australian Film and Television Academy, The Australian Girls’ Choir and Eastern Gymnastics.
Ingrid has an interest in languages, accents and history. She speaks fluent Italian and takes French classes at school. Ingrid has studied classical singing and has performed in German and Italian. She enjoys sport and plays Australian rules football.
