At twenty years old, Laurence has lived in three countries, eleven houses and attended six schools. He made his television debut in teen series The Worst Year of My Life … Again and was seen in Michael Rymer’s critically acclaimed Deadline Gallipoli for Foxtel/Matchbox Pictures. He will soon be seen in the comedy Ronny Chieng: International Student and his film credits to date include Mormon Yankees: The Spirit of the Game. Laurence made his professional stage debut opposite Jane Turner in the Melbourne and Sydney Theatre Companies’ co-production of Jumpy.
Upon emigrating to Australia in his teens, Laurence performed many times with the Adelaide Youth Theatre, including roles in Peter Pan, Annie and Bugsy Malone, while roles at Scotch College included Thenardier in Les Miserables. He is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Performing Arts at NIDA.
