With a wisdom beyond his years, Nicholas has worked constantly throughout his teens. He will play the key role of Pte Noel Grimes in the upcoming feature Danger Close, directed by Kriv Stenders and telling the incredible story of The Battle of Long Tan.
He is currently in the US filming the lead role of Chris in Endless, directed by Scott Speer.
Nicholas is the only Australian cast member in IT and the upcoming IT: Chapter Two, inspired by Stephen King’s 1986 horror novel. He was also recently appeared in The Dark Tower, from director Nikolaj Arcel.
Other feature credits include Captain Fantastic, from director Matt Ross and starring opposite Viggo Mortensen, which had outings at both the Sundance and Cannes film festivals and received a Nomination for Best Ensemble in a Feature Film at the SAG Awards. He was also in Strangerland, from director Kim Farrant, opposite Nicole Kidman, Hugo Weaving and Joseph Fiennes.
Nicholas first came to industry attention with the lead role in the short film Time for which he received a Best Male Actor Award at the 2013 Tropfest Short Film Festival.
Other credits to date include guest leads in Wanted and Mako Mermaids, and the short films Letter to Annabelle, Jack Rabbit, The Boy Who Stole the Belltower and Gifted.
