With experience on screen, stage and even the runway, Otis has already worked with some of Australia’s leading creative minds.
His first role, at only eleven, was with acclaimed director Simon Phillips in Melbourne Theatre Company’s world premiere of An Officer and a Gentleman.
This led to roles in Sydney Theatre Company’s Waiting for Godot and Storm Boy, and Bell Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale. Otis had a key role in the 2019 feature film Bilched, directed by former actor Jeremy Cumpston. The film won three awards at New York’s Chelsea Film Festival and led to US work for the film’s writer and star, 18-year-old Hal Cumpston. Otis was also in Chucky Boy Blue, for Good Time Films.
Television credits have included SBS’s Deep Water and ABC’s The Code, both directed by Shawn Seet.
Otis is also a musician and has written and recorded original work.
