Biography


A two-time Green Room Award nominee for Best Actress, Alexandra’s recent stage credits include The Maids (Belvoir); Bambert’s Book of Lost Stories (Barking Gecko); the lead role of The Widow in Rainbow Man (45 Downstairs); Casca in Julius Caesar (Edinburgh Fringe/Adelaide Fringe); Agatha in The Moors (Red Stitch); Chorus Leader in Medea (Complete Works Theatre Company); Macbeth at Shakespeare in the Vines for Essential Theatre, production design for Dream Lab, also for Essential Theatre and the cabarets Trio of Dips: Love me Tinder! and Electric Loneliness for Night Creatures.

For television, Alex’s credits include Preacher (Frontier Productions); Nine Network’s True Story; Home and Away and The Dr Blake Mysteries (ABC).

Prior stage credits include Eurydice (by Sarah Ruhl) at Red Stitch; Dangerous Liaisons (Dir. Stephen Nicolazzo), for MTC’s NEON Festival; Romeo and Juliet and Julius Caesar for Essential Theatre; Dracula at Theatre Works; Rivers of China, also at Theatre Works; This House is Mine; School for Wives (Bell Shakespeare); Salome; Lord of the Flies (Dir: Kip Williams); Noises Off!; Cellblock Booty; As You like It; The Taming of the Shrew; Top Girls; A Dolls House and The Seagull.

Alexandra completed her Bachelor of Dramatic Art: Acting at NIDA in 2012. She has worked internationally, including a world tour of Louis Nowra’s Cosi, and Macbeth Rearisen at Edinburgh Fringe.
