Ashleigh is well known to US and Canadian audiences for her role playing Winifred Rose in The Netflix and CBC drama series Anne with an E, created by Emmy award winning writer and producer Moira Walley-Beckett (Breaking Bad, Flesh and Bone). Ashleigh was honoured to work with directors Amanda Tapping (Stargate) and Norma Bailey (Outlander).
Prior credits include the guest role of Daria Passmore in US drama comedy series Take Two, and the guest role of Stephanie in the hit Australian comedy series Ronny Chieng International Student.
A singer songwriter, Ashleigh’s country song, Kerosene, featured for 18 weeks on The Australian Country Songwriters Show, a popular country music radio program. It also made it into the Top 10 for two weeks.Kerosene was a finalist for Country Song of the Year in the Songs Alive Australia song competition 2017, and Ashleigh was nominated for songwriting excellence at the National Songwriting Awards.
Ashleigh is a Federation University Bachelor of Arts (Acting) graduate with an AMEB/Rockschool London Diploma in Music Performance. She has danced for many years and also plays piano.
